ACQF Guideline 9: Innovation and technology in the context of national qualifications frameworks and ACQF

The key message of this document is that innovations and technology have a range of applications related to national and regional qualifications frameworks, credentials, and the recognition of learning, which can be leveraged to enhance government service delivery to constituents. Key principles of ethical collection, processing, use and sharing of data and information must be considered at all stages of innovation. This Guideline is available in English, French and Portuguese.
ACQF Guideline 9: Innovation and technology in the context of national qualifications frameworks and ACQF (English)

The purpose of this innovation and technology guideline is to provide a broad range of innovations that have applications to qualifications frameworks, including but not limited to technological innovations; information on issues related to the implementation of innovations and technology, including innovation readiness and ethical considerations; technical orientation for national implementing bodies and stakeholders, especially the lead institutions managing the NQF and interacting with the (future) ACQF implementation/ steering unit.

The innovation readiness tool is designed to serve as an innovation readiness self-assessment, specifically linked to innovations related to national and regional qualifications systems. This tools is complementary to Guideline 9 (Innovation and Technology in the context of ACQF).
