Le Programme de renforcement des capacités des praticien.nes de la Validation des acquis de l’expérience (VAE) au Cameroun se tiendra du 6 au 9 octobre 2026. Il s’inscrit dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre du projet pilote de VAE au Cameroun et vise à doter les praticien.nes qui participeront directement à sa mise en œuvre des connaissances, méthodes et outils pratiques nécessaires pour assurer une mise en œuvre efficace et cohérente de la VAE.
The Capacity Building Programme for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Practitioners in Botswana will take place on 5–9 October 2026 in hybrid modality. The programme is organised as part of the preparations for the forthcoming Botswana RPL pilot and will equip the practitioners who will be directly involved in its implementation with the practical knowledge, methods and tools needed to deliver RPL effectively and consistently.
On 16–17 September 2026, Zimbabwe held a two-day capacity-building workshop in Harare to support the referencing of the Zimbabwe National Qualifications Framework (ZNQF) to the African Continental Qualifications Framework (ACQF).
Referencing National Qualifications Frameworks (NQFs) to the African Continental Qualifications Framework (ACQF) is a key instrument for strengthening transparency, comparability and mutual trust in qualifications across Africa. By demonstrating how national qualifications framework levels relate to the ACQF levels, referencing supports recognition of qualifications, mobility of learners and workers, and greater understanding of qualifications across countries and systems.
From 11 to 14 August 2026, the Secretariat of the East African Community (EAC) convened a regional technical meeting in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to validate the revised draft of the EAC TVET Qualifications Framework (EACTQF). The meeting brought together experts from EAC Partner States, representatives of national TVET authorities and qualifications bodies, the EAC Secretariat, the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the African Continental Qualifications Framework (ACQF) initiative.
