As part of ACQF Phase II, the African Continental Qualifications Framework (ACQF) is supporting Cameroon in the design and implementation of a pilot system for the Validation of Prior Learning (VAE). The initiative aims to recognise skills and competences acquired through work and life experience, with particular attention to informal workers, women, and adults without formal qualifications.

Aligning the National Qualifications Framework to the New Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) Act No. 8 of 2024, the 2023 Zambia Education Curriculum Framework and the Demands of Digital and Green Transformation.
The main objective of the ACQF Network is to implement, sustain and strengthen the ACQF and its Qualifications and Credentials Platform (QCP), as policy instrument supporting transparency and comparability of qualifications and credentials of all types and levels, mobility of learners and workers, recognition of skills, qualifications and credentials, complementarities with national institutions in development of national qualifications frameworks and systems, referencing with qualifications frameworks in Africa and global cooperation.
