Elections of the Presidency of the ACQF Network

Registration as a Candidate Body

In line with the ACQF Network Inception Document member countries of African Union are invited to propose their candidatures for the Presidency.

In the initial phase of the Network’s development, presidency candidates will be required to come from countries with significant NQF development experience. Consult the election procedure for details.

One country can propose only one candidate body.

To register as a Candidate Body:

  1. Print, sign and scan Annex 1 and send it by e-mail to acqf.network.elections@etf.europa.eu
  2. Submit the following form https://forms.office.com/e/ZBuT9kf52x not later than 31 March.

Registration as a Voting country

All member countries of the African Union, represented by qualifications authorities, or in the absence of qualifications authority by institutions which play an active role in advancing the development of National Qualifications Framework, are invited to register their designated voters. Consult the election procedure for details.

Each country is allowed to register one voter.

To register as a Voting Body:

  1. Print, sign and scan Annex 2 and send it by e-mail to acqf.network.elections@etf.europa.eu
  2. Submit the following form https://forms.office.com/e/W1rN58Dbp8 not later than 31 March.

Timetable

  • 20 March – commencement of the candidate and the voter registration process (preferably simultaneously to save time)
  • 31 March - deadline for registrations
  • 1-4 April – check of registrations
  • 4-7 April – publication of the candidatures
  • 8-17 April - voting period
  • 27 April - announcement of the election results and the first Presidency.
