The first and single sizeable workshop of the ACQF project took place in September 2019, before the Covid-19 Pandemic. This inaugural workshop gathered 75 participants from 35 countries to share African experiences of National and Regional Qualifications Frameworks, and to discuss and agree the objectives and milestones of ACQF project and the vision for the future ACQF. In the period of the Covid-19 Pandemic, ACQF held many remote workshops (webinars): 10 Peer Learning Webinars (July 2020-July 2021), 2 ACQF Advisory Group meetings, several consultation meetings with stakeholders and experts, several capacity development and policy meetings with NQF authorities, and over 20 technical experts meetings. With partners such as African Curriculum Association and AQVN, ACQF co-organised the launch webinar of the CESA-Cluster School Curriculum Survey, and supported the 2021 webinars series of AQVN.
