The ACQF-II project invites the representatives of the National Qualifications Authorities, Agencies and Departments, the nominated QCP Contact Persons and other interested relevant institutions to join the online training programme composed of two webinars. This training programme is of high importance for the deployment of the functionalities of the QCP in each interested country and your ownership of the process.

Introduction to the QCP Training programme

The QCP Contact Person Onboarding webinars are designed to introduce the ACQF QCP - African Qualifications and Credentials Platform (QCP). The two sessions will provide a foundational understanding of the QCP, focusing on essential tasks and skills for managing qualifications data. Through a series of interactive presentations, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions, participants will gain the knowledge required to support their activities for integration and effective use of the QCP within their national qualifications frameworks.

Learning Outcomes of the Training programme

• Understand the structure, functionalities, and practical applications of the QCP and apply this knowledge to manage and standardise qualifications data effectively within their own national systems, ensuring alignment with regional frameworks and protocols.
• Implement essential data governance, quality assurance, and validation practices to uphold data integrity, interoperability, and reliability, enabling trusted and comparable qualifications data across national and regional levels.
• Utilise the QCP platform as a collaborative tool that fosters cooperation among African Union member states, supporting a shared Qualifications and Credentials Platform that enhances cross-border recognition, data sharing, and the harmonisation of qualifications systems across the continent.
