The ACQF Survey on the Recognition of Foreign Qualifications is open: share how recognition works in your country

How are foreign qualifications recognised across Africa? The ACQF Survey on the Recognition of Foreign Qualifications is now open, inviting qualifications authorities, regulators and credential evaluation bodies to share how recognition works in their countries.

This is a new ACQF survey on how recognition bodies work in practice: how many applications they handle, how decisions are made, which digital tools and partnerships help, and where challenges remain. Every response helps build a continental picture of recognition and shows where further support is most needed.

Take part

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes, is available in English, French and Portuguese, and is open until 2 November 2026. It is intended for national bodies responsible for recognising, evaluating or verifying qualifications issued abroad, and is best completed by someone with an overview of procedures and data. It will help to have the annual number of recognition applications, and their outcomes if available, at hand. If recognition of TVET qualifications is handled by a separate body in your country, please share the survey with them.
